The Netherlands has some exquisite islands up North in the Wadden Sea. For the Dutch, they’re places where we often spend our holiday or escape to when we want to enjoy its tranquility. But for tourists from abroad, I don’t think they’re very well known! They might be a bit comparable to the Hamptons. If you ever have the chance to visit the Netherlands, I highly recommend you visit one of them!

During the time I was on a blogging break, I also celebrated my birthday! I’ve actually done a lot of exciting things lately, I hope I will catch up here with all the things I did in the past few weeks and can share all the photos and stories.
I haven’t published a new blog post in a while because honestly, it didn’t felt right to publish any other content than related to the Black Lives Matter movement. I didn’t feel like I was the person to write about this to educate others, I needed to be educated myself. And I still need to learn a lot, if you would like to share tips, thoughts, or information on this, feel free to reach out or leave a comment behind down below.
My outfit pictures here and on my Instagram are currently a lot different than a couple of months ago. I am posing in front of my mirror nowadays instead of posing randomly on the streets, after I have found a spot with a great backdrop, the right lighting, and the least amount of wind that is. I must say that I enjoy this way of taking my #ootd picture pretty much, it honestly just takes way less time, haha.
We’ve had some sultry weather here at the beginning of April and C thought it would be an excellent idea to quarantine with the two of us on the water. Obviously it’s still a bit cold when you’re on the water but it was so nice to get out of the house and do something we normally wouldn’t do.
Ever since we’re forced to work from home due to the coronavirus, C and I have incorporated daily walks together into our routine. Sometimes we’ll walk around the neighborhood and sometimes we go for long walks in nature. I probably said it many times before here on the blog but being in nature (especially when the sun shines!) makes me so happy and calm.

Since we’re currently not allowed to travel anywhere anytime soon, I thought I’d throw it back to exactly one year ago. Last year the beginning of April, Christiaan took me to Mallorca to escape the regular and go on a new adventure together. We both had been there before, and it is absolutely one of my favorite places to be. Honestly, I could see myself living here one day. I just feel so at home and at peace here. I thought I’d share some stories from our trip back then!
I honestly do not even know where to start when writing this blog post. It’s been a bit quiet over here after we came back from Paris. Work has been so incredibly busy lately – and not the most fun either – and it started having an effect on me. I was coming home really late hours and after dinner I either went straight to bed, squeezed in an exercise or spent some quality time with the man. It has also been a tough time for me in some medical aspects, maybe I will tell more about that someday.

When Christiaan and I visited Paris last month, we were so in luck with the weather we had. The skies were clear blue, the sun was shining and the air was crisp and cold… Isn’t that the best forecast you could have when you’re going on a city trip?

If you visit my blog more often, you probably know that we’ve spent our summer holiday in Montenegro last year. It was an incredible vacation, just like the country itself. It’s not very common (yet) around here to go on a vacation to Montenegro and that’s exactly why we wanted to go. To be honest, back in 2014, my blogger-crush Kenza Zouiten went to Montenegro and I told my mom that I wanted to go there someday. 5 Years later, I finally got to go! Lately, I’ve been receiving so many questions about our holiday in Montenegro that I’ve...
