I haven’t published a new blog post in a while because honestly, it didn’t felt right to publish any other content than related to the Black Lives Matter movement. I didn’t feel like I was the person to write about this to educate others, I needed to be educated myself. And I still need to learn a lot, if you would like to share tips, thoughts, or information on this, feel free to reach out or leave a comment behind down below.
Like I’ve shared on my Instagram a while ago, I wanted to share some current – very random – favorites of mine. It’s a super miscellaneous list with all kinds of things. Since I haven’t posted a new blog post in a while it has been a couple of weeks, but still they’re my current favorite items!
• Summer Fridays – Lip Butter Balm •
I absolutely love this vanilla lip balm from Summer Fridays. It makes my lips feel buttery soft and I love the scent. I don’t go a day without it!
• Ceramic vase •
I was actually shopping for our renovation in a construction market when I ran into this beautiful vase! I just had to have it, it’s not from a brand and I tried to find something similar online but I haven’t found anything alike to share here yet.
• Pilates workouts at home •
If you have been following me for a while on Instagram you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been doing the workouts by Hotpilates almost daily. I’m so grateful to have found their Instagram and platform, their instructors make me feel happy, energized, and feeling good about myself!
• MAC – lip liner •
If you’re looking for a really great nude (one that’s not pink!) lipliner then the MAC lip pencil in ‘Oak’ is your go-to. I love to use it together with my Summer Fridays lip balm.
• H&M – Blouse with puffed sleeves •
I picked up this blouse from H&M and it’s just really cute with its puffed sleeves. Love it so much I also ordered it in black too, it’s also very budget-friendly!
• ZARA – Amalfi Sunray Scented Candle •
Now this, you guys, if I could smell one thing for the rest of my life it would be this scented candle. To me, it reminds me exactly of Italy. ZARA did a great job on this one, I also picked up the fragrance which I love as well!
• Aesop – Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm •
My hands are always dry, no matter the season. This Aesop hand balm brings me so much relief with natural oils and extracts. And it smells divine too.
• Gift wrapping idea •
This season is always loaded with lots of birthdays and parties for me. Instead of wrapping gifts in basic wrapping plastics and putting a bow on it, I decided to wrap my gifts a little more naturally. I’m using actual brown paper and some rope. We’re currently growing rosemary in our garden and I thought the touch of some fresh rosemary wrapped around the present is a really nice touch.
Have you tried any of above-mentioned products? And what are some items or things you cannot live without at the moment?
Much love, Layla
