Merry Christmas lovelies!
I hope you had some wonderful days with your loved ones, filled with cozy candlelit nights, cheesy Christmas movies, glorious food coma’s and late sleep in’s. Well, at least that’s what we did. ๐
We celebrated Christmas Eve together, cooked ourselves a festive meal and cuddled on the couch for the rest of the night. The first day of Christmas we took it very slow and later in the afternoon we’ve visited my parents to eat some more delicious meals and listened to Quincy Jones. I wore my new gala gown but I must honestly admit it didn’t take long before I exchanged it for my workout tights and a big sweater. I woke up on Christmas Day with severe neck pain and was desperate for a neck and shoulder rub with tiger balm. So when I couldn’t take it anymore I decided to opt for comfortable, haha. What do you usually wear during the holidays? Do you go all out or wear something comfortable instead?
Today, the second Christmas Day (yes, we have two in Holland!), we’re going to visit Christiaans’ family and have Christmas dinner #3. On Friday I’ll have my last workday of the year and then it’s time for a small holiday! We’re going to PARIS on Monday for a couple of days to celebrate the New Years’ together. I’m truly looking forward to our upcoming trip! I’ve been there a couple of times but I can’t wait to take romantic strolls through the city of love.
Have you ever been to Paris and what are your tips to visit this city? What to do, what to see, where to eat?
Bisous, Layla
