During the time I was on a blogging break, I also celebrated my birthday! I’ve actually done a lot of exciting things lately, I hope I will catch up here with all the things I did in the past few weeks and can share all the photos and stories.

I turned 32 at the end of June and C. surprised me – among other things – with a trip to Bruges, Belgium for my birthday! It was our first getaway again after Paris and it was absolutely amazing. It was a short trip, we only went for one night (and it’s a 4-hour drive), but I really experienced that nostalgic ‘holiday feeling’ in those 48 hours we were gone. I will share our stories and photo’s in a separate blogpost!

C. kept it a surprise where we were going until a day before, and I was so excited! I really had the best birthday weekend ever, and I felt so loved by all my friends and family! I was showered with many messages, calls, gifts, and wonderful moments for several days around my birthday. A week after my birthday I also celebrated – we are allowed here in the Netherlands to come together again – it with a party at our house with friends and fam and lots of great food.
