Right before I had my birthday, Romke took me out to dinner on Sunday. We had Italian and I ordered a pizza!
Duuuuhhhh, pizza is life. I wore my new silver metallic heels that I bought on sale at ZARA! Aren’t they fierce? I combined them with my favorite comfy grey sweater. Whenever I go somewhere, have a sleepover or go away for the weekend, I bring that sweater. Always. I’m so in love with it. But I really need to find a replacement soon because this one is starting to get a little bit old. Any suggestions sweeties?
This gal over here had her birthday on the 27th of June! This year went by so ridiculous fast, it’s unbelievable. I can remember my 28th birthday like yesterday… But I have to face the facts and accept that I turned 29! It has been some crazy 12 months: moved in with my boyfriend, we bought our first house, moved out of our house, we had to say goodbye to Romke’s dad, I bought my first car (Yes, I bought my first car a couple weeks ago!! I will show it on the blog later). We have faced so many highs and lows the last couple of months, but we remain positive and keep going strong!
My oh my, we’re almost having a heatwave here in Holland. It’s sooooo hot outside!
And inside. Every move that I make creates a new drip of sweat somewhere on my body. Gross I know, but I’m not complaining, I love this weather. I wish I lived in a country that has this type of climate. But when you’re renovating your house it can become a little tooooooo hot. It’s 12 AM right now, I’m laying in bed and thank goodness we have a fan on!
I am so excited to finally tell you guys that Romke and I bought our first house!
Ohhhh that’s way it has been so quiet over here. We started our house search late 2016. It went actually pretty easy, we shared the same taste, desires and we both preferred an old house. To us, it didn’t really mattered where the house was located, we are used to do everything by car. This was the third house we visited and we were instantly sold! And so was the house!
For months I was looking forward to be sharing a very exciting and proud story by the end of March. But I’m afraid that I don’t have such a happy story to share after all….
